SavannaPost was founded in Nairobi in 2015 by a team of African journalists with a singular mission: to tell Africa's stories with the depth, accuracy, and urgency they deserve. Today, we reach over 14 million readers monthly across 54 countries.
Our editorial team of 240 journalists, photographers, and analysts are based in 22 African cities β from Lagos to Cairo, Johannesburg to Dakar. We cover politics, business, sports, technology, culture, and health with uncompromising rigour and a commitment to fact-based reporting.
SavannaPost is editorially independent. We are funded through digital advertising, subscription revenues, and syndication partnerships with international news agencies including Reuters, AFP, and AP. We do not accept government funding or advertising from political parties.
